Board of Directors Meeting

May 16, 2005

The Greater Trilby News will now include "Serving the Tri-Community Area", which will include Trilby, Trilacoochee and Lacoochee. Motion granted by Eileen Lamb and Pauline Hunt.

 

Kathy Riley: Certificate of Appreciation for being the editor for The Greater Trilby News.

 

Awards Banquet: Will be held in September. See Trilbyfl.com. Awards will go to the Youth, the Board, and the Clubs/Activity and Business committees.  It will cost $ 25.00 a person (if someone can not afford this price we will help out with the cost).  The Chamber of Commerce is invited.  The Boys and Girls Club is willing to help.  We are purchasing a Recognition Plaque to be place in the community house.

         Sponsors will receive the following:

 $ 100.00 == (Bronze Award) Mention the sponsor's business name and a sign.

 $ 500.00 = (Silver Award) Mention the sponsor's business name, sign and newsletter flier.

 $ 1,000.00 == (Gold Award) Mention the sponsor's business name, sign, newsletter flier and a plaque for the recognition plaque.

$ 2,000.00 = (Platinum Award) The works, plus a 12 month flier in The Trilby News.   We are looking into having the food catered. Possibly through Kafe Kokopelli's (Mr. Greenfelder), Golden Corral (Mr. Tuttle), or whoever we can find for this event.

 

Special Guest for the May 19,2005 Meeting:

     1. Southeastern Guide Dogs from Palmetto, FL.

     2. Pasco Kids First: Kathy Bell

 

The Board of Directors Meeting will be held every third Monday before the General Public Meeting. The next General Meeting will be on June 16th at 7:00 pm.

 

The next Dance: will be on June 24, according to Eileen and Denny.

 

Kathleen: mentioned the that the money donated at the Children's Safety Rally should be to buy the memorial plaques for the Magnolia's that are planted along the trail. We will stay in contact with the Dade City garden Club and the Office of Greenways and Trails.
